Want to Learn 2 Great Coin Tricks?

Magic tricks do not automatically have to be complex; once in a while even the most effortless of tricks can be very magnificent with the perfect presentation and practice. You might wish to use magic as a vehicle for exciting your classmates, loved ones or fiancee. I'll show you a few straightforward tricks that you can use to accomplished these objectives.

For the first effect you will require a coin of any denomination, a 5x5" piece of paper and a handkerchief. It's probably a great idea to beg the coin and even have it initialed with a stylograph if you like.

Place the paper onto the table with the coin positioned at its midpoint. You now proceed to double the paper down so the top edge comes down to the bottom leaving approx a 1" gap. Next off, double the left edge of the paper around to the back so that it meets the center and do the same thing to the right side of the unit. Double over half an inch of the top of the paper down so it appears you created a packet. Let the witness squeeze the package to tetify that the coin is still inside.

Bend/fold the top of the paper packet downward so that it seems to completely trap the coin inside the paper parcel that you have created. Let your friends touch the unit to validate that the coin is still inside once again. Secretly let the coin slip out of the parcel and into your hand. Use this hand to fetch the hankie from your pocket leaving the coin behind.

Drape the hankie over the package and let one of your viewers hold the unit through the cloth. Say the magic words and then reveal that the coin has disappeared altogether from the paper parcel to finish and surprise everyone who is watching.

For another trick using a coin and a scarf, secretly sew a small coin into the seam of a scarf. The coin is stitched in close to the corner of the bandana. You also privately secrete a coin of the same denomination underneath your wrist watch. You then sponge a coin of the same denomination.

Hold the scarf by the corners covertly holding the coin inside the large cloth in the same hand that bears the borrowed coin. Appear to position the borrowed coin under the bandana but privately hold the one that is sewn into the edging from the exterior with the other hand. Have the spectator hold the coin through the cloth. They don't know that they are holding onto the coin attached into the small cloth.

Say the magic words and wrench the cloth away with a flourish to make public that the coin has dissolved. You can now acknowledge that the coin has surprisingly transmitted by magic and has arrived under you wrist watch! Your friends will give you great merit for being such a clever magician!

Try to remember that magic is only bewildering and captivating to your spectators if you do not explain the secrets. You will not get any credit for being expert or entertaining if you let slip how your magical effects are done. Always retain the formula to how you perform you magic tricks to yourself and on no account tell or present them to anyone.
